Not only do we provide reliable service to a number of nonprofits throughout South Florida, but we also give back in any way we can, including offering our staff paid volunteer days, participating in their events, and even donating goods and services. Below are some of the organizations we actively support - and we hope you will, too!

Broward House in a not for profit social services organization with 28 years of providing services for our community impacted by HIV and other health concerns.

“What does a client of Broward House looks like”, an individual who desires and deserves to know they are worthy of respect and dignity. Someone who is impacted by a disease that affects every aspect of their being: emotional, spiritual, mental and physical, who should have ease of access to the care essential for healing. We cannot provide a single picture to describe who we serve. For that picture, you must look in the mirror, at your neighbor, at the person walking down the street, and the clerk behind the counter assisting you. We serve every age, every race, every gender, every sexual orientation, every education level – HIV/AIDS is everywhere and so is Broward House.

The continued broad impact of HIV/AIDS challenges us to continue to broaden our services in both mainstream and unique ways.

Our Mission: Victory Living Programs provides individualized services and opportunities to persons with disabilities so that they may experience life to its fullest and reach their highest level of independence.

Based in warm, beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Victory Living Programs offers our clients a safe, soothing and welcoming environment that allows them to form everlasting friendships, learn new things, socialize with their peers, live more independently and thrive!

For the past four decades, Victory Living Programs has created independent living environments for thousands of people with disabilities. Victory Living Programs offers premier supported independent living programs that place clients in their own individual, luxurious apartments. In addition to the top-tier supported independent living programs, Victory Living Programs also offers an extensive array of programming to assist clients with securing and maintaining employment, learning new skills, volunteering in the community and socializing with their peers - all of which make it possible to infuse independence and transform the lives of people with disabilities.

A 2 Day Ride, 165-Mile Ride from Miami to Key West

Like many things that change us and the world in some way, it starts with a dream, a vision, and an idea. The SMART Ride (Southern Most AIDS/HIV Ride) is no different. It was born out of a dream to make a real and significant difference in the lives of those infected, affected and at risk for HIV/AIDS. In 2002, the idea was a welcome change to this kind of fundraising, but met much skepticism about the reality of meeting these goals of 100%. The ride became a reality one year later in November of 2003 with less than 100 riders and about 100 crew. Miraculously, we raised $169,000 and returned it all to AIDS Service Organizations. Thirteen years later, over $8.5 million has been distributed throughout Florida, making SMART Ride the 2nd largest AIDS bicycle ride in the country and the only one of its size to give back 100%.

Participants come from across the State of Florida. From as far south as Key West, as far North as Jacksonville, and from Tampa to Palm Beach. Nationally, participants come from as far as Hawaii to as close as our neighboring state of Georgia, not to mention Internationally. The ride attracts between 400-500 participants with each event, but we touch thousands more on the road as we travel between cities and towns, and with each donation that is made. Last year, close to 10,000 people donated to our efforts – that’s quite an impact! Our own Mary Kinirons has completed the Ride, and both Bill and Mary have acted as support crew for many years.

The South Florida Institute on Aging (The SoFIA) is a women led, grassroots nonprofit organization who is focused on providing equitable and quality services to the lives of the aging community and their families in South Florida. With services that help seniors bridge gaps between them and their communities, The SoFIA is able to enrich the lives of seniors in South Florida as well as those around them. Help us continue our mission and support The SoFIA today!

FLIPANY’s mission is to foster healthy lives through nutrition education, physical activities, and wellness initiatives. FLIPANY (Florida Introduces Physical Activity and Nutrition to Youth) is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2005 by FLIPANY’s President and CEO, Lynne Kunins. For the past 15 years, FLIPANY has brought customized health and wellness programming to more than 400 partner sites in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties. Our innovative programs fight childhood obesity and hunger by focusing on healthy food preparation, food security, physical education and work-site wellness. FLIPANY’s programming includes Physical Activity, Soccer, Biking, Nutrition and Cooking Education, and USDA Afterschool and Summer Meal Program

The Sailing Foundation of Florida is dedicated to favorably impacting the lives of young people, primarily between the ages of eight and eighteen, using sailing as a vehicle to teach boating, weather, marine safety, sea conditions, maritime ‘rules of the road’, racing, tactics, first aid, and improve spatial and mathematical skills. We firmly believe that sailing at this age fosters character, self-reliance, independence, self-respect, and leadership skills, while also supporting the math and science areas of education. The Foundation also supports organizations in South Florida that provide sailing opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged youth.

Kids In Distress, Inc. (KID) is a nationally accredited organization dedicated to preventing child abuse, preserving families, and treating children who have been abused and neglected. Since 1979, when KID was created as a shelter for abused and neglected children, we’ve provided services to imagine better outcomes, invest in children, and improve their lives.

We believe all children deserve loving, secure, and stable homes, so we provide programs that do just that. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we maintain the highest standards in providing essential care to children and families in our South Florida community.
